CheckFree a vendor of telephone and internet bill payment services has acquired PhoneCharge Inc.

The acquisition allows CheckFree to round out its suite of payment solutions. A full suite of payment options can be made to customers by companies who purchase the suite. (According to CheckFree.)

Payment channels now available include: online, walk-in, telephone and lockbox through accounts receivable conversion processing. A single provider should also reduce complexity for companies.

Typical companies include, telecommunications, cable television and utiities.
