Dell Selects Altrius Dell Inc. has been successfully using Altiris(R) IT lifecycle management solutions under an enterprise license agreement. Dell currently uses Altiris solutions to automate the provisioning of Windows and Linux-based servers across Dell's global enterprise. Altiris solutions automate server provisioning and application packaging to help rapidly and accurately deliver computing power to where it is needed most.

Fortiva Enhancements Fortiva has announced improvements to its Archiving & Compliance Suite™ suite. The latest version of Fortiva's archiving solution features support for Instant Messaging (IM), sophisticated supervision tools, improved integration with Microsoft(R) Active Directory(R), support for daily restricted list updates, and new reports specifically tailored to meet the needs of the financial services industry.

Included in the upgrade are:- improved sophistication tools, enhanced reporting capabilities, archiving of instant messages using third-party software from IMLogic and FaceTime Communications, restricted list updates, ability to import members of an Active Directory group.

Diversified Security Solutions Diversified Security Solutions Inc. (AMEX:DVS) , a turnkey provider of technology-based integrated electronic security solutions, today announced that its Viscom Division was selected by the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) to provide and install video surveillance systems on 80 light rail vehicles (LRVs) and provide maintenance for three years. Viscom will provide Santa Clara VTA with Mobile Digital Video Recorders (MDVRs) and Enterprise Management Suite software from March Networks. VTA will use an 802.11g network for communications from the on-board MDVRs to its central monitoring station. Together, Viscom Products and March Networks will provide the transportation authority with high quality and reliable video download capabilities as well as a proactive fleet management system. "
