Norwich Union Locks Down

Norwich Union has locked down 48,000 desktop PCs. Employees access to USB memory sticks, rewritable DVD drives and floppy discs.

The move comes amidst the increasing drive by the regulatory regime to force financial services firm to secure sensitive data.

Norwich Union's network will be protected against viruses, malicious code and spyware being introduced by users.
