Workers at Standard Life are to receive remote online access corporate data and applications. Control of the company's central data centres in Scotland will be retained. Business applications for 800 international staff will be made available through Citrix at the Edinburgh centre. The insurance company is expecting 30-40% savings in telecoms costs and increased productivity. The project is expected to complete by the Summer. |
