Archer Announces Annual Excellence and Innovation Award Winners

Overland Park, KS (April 1, 2005) — Archer Technologies (Archer), a recognized leader in delivering enterprise security solutions, announced today the winners of the 2nd Annual Archer Excellence and Innovation Awards. Presented at the 2005 Archer User Group Summit, these honors were given to companies and individuals who are using Archer’s solutions in new and unique ways and who help drive the development of the application.

At the 2005 ceremony, Archer gave two Excellence Awards and four Innovation Awards.

The Archer Excellence Awards were given to entire enterprise security teams working together to enhance the capabilities of Archer’s solutions. The clients who achieve excellence are leading the Archer customer base in promoting the adoption of the Archer application within their organization and developing unique ways to utilize the application to solve business problems beyond security-related issues.

The 2005 Excellence Award recipients were:

American Express, under the direction of John Kirkwood, Global CISO

Wells Fargo, under the direction of Bill Ender, VP, Corporate Information Security and Governance

The Archer Innovation Awards went to individuals who are tailoring the Archer application to their specific company’s needs and are helping to direct Archer’s vision for future product enhancements. These individuals are experts in information security and are using Archer’s solutions on a daily basis to protect critical information captured by their organizations. Collectively, these experts serve as a focus group for Archer, offering input and validation for product enhancements.

Paul DeGraaf, DTCC
