InBev Outsources Comms to BT

InBev , a global brewer has awarded management of its worldwide communications infrastructure to BT Global Services in a seven-year £122m deal.

Stella Artois, Beck's, Leffe and Staropramen beers are all brewed by InBev.

The contract covers management of existing data and voice networks. Eventually the network will be migrated to BT's IP based solution.

640 sites and 24,000 users will be supported by BT. 4 global datacentres will be connected.

Voice infrastructure, phone lines, PBXs, mobile, audio and videoconferencing are all covered.
