Computer Sciences Corp. has been awarded a $762m contract for operations an maintenance at the US Navy's Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center. The centre is a test and range facility for deep and shallow water training environments for the Navy, according to CSC. Duration is for three years with four three-year options. The DynCorp Technical Services unit of the company actually won the contract. Scheduling and conducting test programs, operation range and instrumentation and testing of support systems are all covered by the contract. Work will be carried out in various places including, the Bahamas, Florida and Virgina. |
