DataPath, a telecoms integrator has acquired the assets of M&C Systems a vendor of satellite communications monitoring control systems. With the acquisition, DataPath gains new control and monitoring systems capabilities for satellite earth terminals, transportables, Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSATs) and Telemetry Tracking and Control (TT&C). Organizations require the ability to monitor and manage satellite earth stations and communications infrastructure health 24x7, said Christopher Baugh, president, Northern Sky Research, LLC.
