The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has received an independent test report on iris recognition software. Conducted by the International Biometric Group, the Independent Testing of Iris Recognition Technology (ITIRT) looked at accuracy, interoperability and usability. Four hardware/software iris recognition solutions were tested.
