The Analysis Corporation (TAC), a vendor of counter-terrorism and anti-crime systems and services, announced that it has formed an alliance with Viisage (NASDAQ:VISGE) of Billerica, MA in order to offer powerful identity matching tools which provide the most accurate text and biometric matching abilities.

The passage of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, which calls for a biometric entry and exit data system, presents TAC and Viisage with opportunities for new solutions to help the government achieve these mandates

. Both companies have long-term relationships with the Department of State including development of the terrorist watch list, facial recognition for duplicate analysis of the Diversity Visa program, and the production of passports and anti-fraud databases for visas and passports.
