Bank Of America Boosts Online Security

Bank of America, is the latest to increase security for its online customers.

The bank, which claims the most online banking customers in the U.S. is rolling out the service across six states, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma.

The serviece, SiteKey is based around questions rather than two-factor security.

To sign up, customers select an image, a phrase and three challenge questions. The bank can use this information to confirm identity. Also the customer will know that he is dealing with the bank and not a phishing or pharming site.
